Drago blu

L’opera raffigura un drago blu, un animale a me molto caro, nel mio immaginario lo identifico con il potenziale creativo racchiuso in noi.

L’animale è calato in un mondo fantastico di creature fluide e astratte, uccelli magici e soli e lune e stelle. L’ispirazione nasce dai ciondoli che ho ereditato da mia nonna Mirta Paterna, da cui ho anche ricevuto il dono del dipingere.

Lei era una donna a suo modo eccentrica e artista, si creava i suoi cappellini, amava bijoux originali, dipingeva quadri, giocava in borsa con successo e aveva un suo senso di come creare affari. Di fronte ai drammi della vita ha sempre saputo reagire con ottimismo e ironia ed è stato un personaggio che mi ha molto affascinato.

Little Blue dragon

The work represents in the middle a blue dragon, an animal very dear to me, in my imagination I identify it with the creative potential contained within us.

The animal has descended into a fantasy world of fluid and abstract creatures, magical birds and suns and moons and stars. The inspiration comes from the pendants I inherited from my grandmother Mirta , from whom I also received the gift of painting.

She was an eccentric woman and artist i n her own way, she made her own caps, she loved original bijoux, painting canvas, playing the stock market successfully and had her own sense of how to create business. Faced with life's dramas, she has always known how to react with optimism and irony and he was a character who fascinated me a lot.
